NOW YOU CAN DOWNLOAD THE AVE MARIA RADIO APP ON YOUR IPHONE AND ANDROID DEVICES – IT’S FREE – LISTEN TO AVE MARIA RADIO ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD – TELL EVERYONE YOU KNOW!
What is the reason that this app requires access to my phone calls and their phone numbers? I wanted to download this, but I don't want the privacy of my phone callers violated. This is the first time I have seen an app that requires this type of access and I am confused as to why. Thank you.
I'm very confused about what you may be referring to because we have had many tests and many downloads and have never encountered anything like what you are describing. That is not a part of our app in any way.
On the Droid phone when going through the installation, it asks whether we want to "allow this application to access:
Network Communication - Full internet Access Phone Calls - Read phone state and identity Storage - Modify/delete SD card contents Services that cost money - Send SMS messages System Tools - Prevent phone from sleeping"
The 1st, 3rd and 4th requirements for access are very typical for apps. I have never seen the 2nd one related to phone calls. Thanks.
