4:00 – Kresta Comments

4:20 - The Church in Russia
Fr. Daniel Maurer, grew up in, and went to college in Michigan, and joined the Mary Mother of God Mission Society, which works to revive the Church in Eastern Russia. He has served in Vladivostok, Russia, since 1992. He is here in the States for a visit and joins us to discuss the state of the Church in Russia.

5:00 - Mass Revision - How the Liturgy Is Changing and What It Means for You
The Mass Is Changing--How? Why? And what does it mean for you? Catholics all across America will be asking these questions, seeking the answers from a trusted source. In a highly readable, information-packed volume, award-winning author Jimmy Akin describes the transformation and lays out the facts. Jimmy goes straight to the heart of the issue, quoting the Church's own documents so you can see for yourself what the Church has to say and not be deceived by falsehood and spin. He is here to shows us exactly which parts of the liturgy are changing, review the rites and new wording, and provide very practical information on who can and cannot receive Communion, liturgical furnishings and vestments, postures and actions during Mass, as well as the hot-button issue of liturgical abuses.

  2. Al Great interview with Fr. Daniel Maurer. As a teen I did 4 months missonary work in Russia in 1993....I recognized there a true poverty of spirit in the Russians. People who had been silenced for so long, no longer knew how to have a voice.... without reading a book about communism, you could *feel* how evil it was by seeing what it *did* to a nation of people.....
