5:20 – Nationwide Day of Remembrance for Aborted Babies
On Saturday, September 14, Citizens for a Pro-Life Society, Priests for Life and the Pro-Life Action League are calling on pro-life Americans to participate in a National Day of Remembrance for Aborted Children to honor the gravesites of our unborn brothers and sisters. Solemn prayer vigils will be conducted at these gravesites, of which there are 34 across the United States. Touching the reality of abortion happens in various ways: hearing a description of the procedure, seeing diagrams of it, seeing images of aborted children, hearing a woman's personal testimony of regret over her abortion. This impact, whereby abortion no longer remains an abstraction, can be brought to an even more profound level when experienced in an event, such as a funeral for an aborted baby. Monica Miller is here to discuss it.

5:40 – The Napa Institute – Building Catholics for the Next America
The Napa Institute exists to promote excellence in Catholic thought and apologetics.  It also seeks to instill a new zeal for Jesus Christ and the Catholic faith in all its participants.  To accomplish this, one of the Institute’s key tools is an annual conference designed to help attendees respond to the moral and spiritual challenges posed by America’s emerging “post-Christian” culture. We talk with Institute Chairman Tim Busch about the Institute, the Conference and Ave Maria Radio’s involvement.
