Today on Kresta - January 1, 2010

Talking about the "things that matter most" on Dec. 30

Kresta Countdown of the top interviews of 2009

#3 – A Bishop’s Story of Vocation
Bishop Alexander Sample
of the Diocese of Marquette, MI has an incredible story of his calling to the priesthood, and he is here to share it. In this year for priests, the Bishops are calling on all Catholics to build up the priesthood, discuss the priesthood, and suggest the priesthood to young men. It is precisely because of this type of encouragement that Bishop Sample is a priest of God.

#2 – St. Damien of Molokai
In November Matthew Bunson joined us in studio at Redeemer Radio in Fort Wayne. He told us all about his trip to Rome for the canonization of Damien of Molokai, his book on St. Damien and much more.

#1 – Al’s Analysis of the Christopher Hitchens Interview
In April, Al sat down for an interview with famed atheist bomb-thrower Christopher Hitchens – author of God is Not Great: How Religion Poisons Everything. In typical Hitchens fashion, he made outrageous and odd claims. We aired the interview and the next day we analyzed certain elements of it to expand on Al’s responses to Hitchens and further expose this man as a fraud and outright liar.
