  1. forget the government. We know the direction. Welcome to the minority, Other secular groups are growing, Nobama is the candy man and it's a tough message to tell someone, stop taking handouts and I'll get you a job so you can earn it. Why should they earn something someone is giving to them without charge?

On the social end, we are increasingly secular. Face it. The new normal is gay, abortion, heaven is what you want it to be and there's all sorts of ways to get there, sin is what I feel sin is. That's not Catholic. We are the minority.

SO WHAT. I've got work to do in the pro life movement, donating to Catholic Radio and simply living my life. I have control over my home, I have 6 boys, 2 were just adopted through the state system. I can be pro life by collecting money and putting up billboards in our county and fliering the local university, but I can also be pro life by showing 6 boys off to this culture of death.

Get to work people, we don't have time to get distracted. The end is near. Don't believe me, you end is near. Are you 60, you have about 10-25 years likely, that's not much. Are you 40, you might have 30 more, you have less than half. So get to work so we can hear those great words....well done my good and faithful servant!

    Be strong....

  2. Some of us, have been asked by God to be prepared for the coming time(s).
I was asked by God to be a martyr and he has been preparing me for the last 2 1/2 years
before he sends me out to evangelize, talk boldy,etc.. There are others like me, lay people and priests(http://on-this-rock.blogspot.com/2012/11/election-reflection-for-warrior.html), that I have found
on Catholic forums and blogs, some, not alot, and a few more than just the links contained here. Obamas reelection has firmed my horizon. I dont
suspect I will be around 10 or more years from now...but I dont really know at what age much will commence or when I will die for the faith. I am 55 year old male, strong in the faith, a pro-life centric, Catholic. There are others like me, Mark Mallet(has a blog http://www.markmallett.com/blog/) is a St John the Baptist type and was asked by God for this in front of the Blessed Sacrament, then the next day at his church a mystic sought him out to Give him a relic of St John the Baptist. My details are similar to what Mark Mallet experienced but for St. George.

How many will be martyred, killed for the faith? I dont know, but I suspect those being asked will be amongst the first or most
profound. My read on Catholic history is that this will be the completion of the the path that 'modernism/liberalism'(as philosophies) has been following as the final fulfillment of 'The Great Enlightenment' and there will be Catholic blood in the streets--again! Think French Revolution during the times of the Great Enlightenment.

I have found many prophetic blogs and prophecies that focus too much on things like the New World Order(U.N. control of parts of our laws & govt) and would normally dismiss this kind of talk as coming from either or through God, Jesus or Mary. But I am aware of some of these things being planned by the Obama admin through Senate approved treaties of UN dicatates making them enforceable U.S. law. So I have to wrap my mind around all this and maybe be not so dismissive. The trend has been Western Civilization Christendom being replaced by European style secularism. Cohesiveness through the U.N. is certainly possible~ Control.

    1. Wow, a little out there for me. Fight the good fight, follow the church, use the sacraments, live Christlike and hang in there. I don't need voices or signs, I've got one, it's the church with the Pope. don't need anything more and anything less.

  3. "But I am aware of some of these things being planned by the Obama admin through Senate approved treaties of UN dicatates making them enforceable U.S. law."

By bypassing the Republican controlled House of Representatives through U.N. treaties which only need be negotiated and signed by the President and are binding as U.S. law once the Senate(Harry Reid Democratic control) has approved it.

    1. Who cares. Time to move on. They have already made a mockery of the law and our founding documents. People have spoken. Most don't care. Enough, in fact, to reelect him. So, get on your knees, pray and then go out and get some work done. Rebuild the church. Us lay people must do the lifting and let our Priests and Bishops feed us lambs. RB2, you are way too focused on all this. Get to work!

    2. Alrighty Sarge, BTW I was a sergeant in the U.S. Army at least for a little while.
But I only take marching orders from someone higher than you ninov. But applaud your 'get to work' attitude and getting beyond
Tv/Radio ads which is letting only the $$ do the work.
      Peace and Out.

    3. To combat this culture, we need boots on ground. Radio is great, TV is great, but we need all angles. I'm a marketing guy and believe in contact marketing. We must attack this culture from all angles. The church is really coming alive with twitter, facebook, radio, tv, we need much better work in parish life, but it's harder because that's where frankly, you tick people off because you tell them, ....oh...what's in the CCC...and they don't know what Catholic really means, is and what they beleive......but parish life is what we need. We also need more monestaries that are monastic living in certain areas of this country and praying 24.7. We are a train wreck. Much more than I though. I live in Catholic culture and venture out the last two weeks into 'the culture' and had no idea. Check out the TV show...'the new normal.' Unbelievable........

  5. Regarding a comment Kresta just made with this show on the radio:
My priest on Monday before the election in Mondays mass: advised us to not vote for the person who would promote the riches of the few.

No wonder we're in the mess we're in. This is rather exemplerary(sp?) of the bad half of the church, with its flawed view of social justice and its envious view of the money of others.

    1. I agree with you. Our parish priest only read a letter about the HHS mandate because the bishop told him to. I knew our priest was for Obama in 2008 but I surely thought in light of the mandate he would vote against his political party in favor of God's law. Boy was I wrong. I found out he actually donated $750 to Obama's campaign. Our priest is all about social justice and helping the poor. When a ladies prayer group asked him if he could do Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, they were told no-because that time spent in front of the Blessed Sacrament praying would be better spent helping the poor.
