Does EMILY’s List Really Know “What Women Want?”

by Raimundo Rojas | Washington, DC | LifeNews | 7/6/12 11:45 AM

A few minutes before 3:00 PM on the afternoon of July 5th, 2012, the always-cheerful gals over at EMILY’s List (Early Money Is Like Yeast) sent out yet another e-mail blast begging for money. Since their “proven” track record is so less-than-stellar they opted to use this solicitous rant as an opportunity to address what they have accomplished this year.
They touted and featured some of the 1,300 pro-abortion Democrat women they’ve “trained” these last few months in an effort to excite their strictly pro-abortion base. In the hopes of adding even more to their already deep war-chests they lauded the “political prowess” of this year’s EMILY Listers. What they don’t mention and what becomes embarrassingly apparent every election night is that they should have cut back on the canvas bags and given these poor dears a lesson in the subtleties of concession speeches.
The e-mail that went out to millions of their subscribers notes and emphasizes that these pro-abort broads were made aware of what the American female electorate “really” wants as seen through the pro-abortion prism that is EMILY’s List. They claim to have conducted their own “extensive” polling and discovered that:
“The characteristics women voters seek in their congressional representatives include collaborative, equality, balance, relatable, listeners, nurturing, smaller egos, understanding, … and more feminine qualities.”
Really?!?
Nurturing? This is an organization that raises tens of millions of dollars each election cycle with the singular purpose of giving cash to women who advocate the destruction of their own children. In their warped and disconnected reality nothing says “nurturing” more than supporting partial-birth abortion. They advocate nurturing their unborn daughters by ripping them to shreds. Hamsters have a better “nurture” track record.
Smaller Egos? On June 16, 2009 Brigadier General Michael Walsh was testifying before the Environment and Public Works Committee. During the course of his back and forth with male Senators he referred to them as ”Sir,” which is the most common and respectful way of addressing Senators by members of our Armed Forces. But when he referred to Babs Boxer (D-CA) as “ma’am” (most respectful way the military addresses superiors) her super-sized ego attempted to publicly dress-him-down by insisting he call her “Senator.” You can watch the demure Ms. Boxer’s cringe-worthy exchange with the Brigadier General here.
Equality? Pro-life women are always portrayed by EMILY’s List’s minions as less than. It seems that in their world-view equality is only afforded to those who think just as they do. This was famously demonstrated during another shrill scream-fest masquerading as a rally in Harrisburg, PA this Spring when rabidly pro-abortion state representative Babette Josephs (D-Philadelphia) wailed that Republican women who support protective pro-life legislation aren’t really women at all – rather they are “men with breasts.” Charming.
Balance? How combatively one-sided must you be to have the most divisive and polarizing White House in history ask you to “tone it down?” Debbie Wasserman-Schultz is that bad. Pages upon blog-posts upon tweets upon Facebook updates are filled with this EMILY’s List perennial favorite’s ill-conceived and horribly delivered harangues. So caustic are her one-sided progressive tirades that Google searches have a hard time keeping up with them – and why her days as DNC Chair may be numbered.
Collaborative? Nancy “Pass It So We Can Read It” Pelosi is the poster gal for EMILY’s List (Yes, it’s a scary poster.) She is one of their greatest champions and pronounced by them as a great collaborator. Unfortunately the former Speaker’s own comments and actions are in sharp contrast with their always skewed reality. This is a woman who after the shellacking she took in the 2010 mid-term elections made it a personal policy to block even the mildest of deals attempted by the GOP.
Relatable? Elizabeth “I’m a Woman of Color” Warren is this year’s rising star over at EMILY’s List Connecticut Avenue HQ. They will spend more blood money on her than on any other pro-abortion candidate this election cycle. This is a woman who has lied and cheated in order to advance her career as an übber-liberal college professor. She strongly supports the deranged behavior of last fall’s liberal cause célèbre – Occupy Wall Street and is unapologetic in her view that abortion is a fundamental human right. She is so not relatable that her seemingly false claims of Native American-hood have caused the Cherokee Nation to place her under investigation.
It seems luminously clear that EMILY’s List has little idea as to what women really want – the truth. Woman want to know that there is no such thing as a “safe abortion.” Women want to know if their unborn daughter will feel pain when she is being dismembered. Women want to know the short and long term physical and mental side affects of finalizing a decision that cannot be undone.
EMILY’s List can’t provide that information, that truth is anathema to them. They are in the business of building up candidates that will help to continue to grow the multi-million dollar a year global abortion industry. This e-mail was just more of the same hysteria, wrapped in half-truths and lies they’ve become so well known for.
Oh! More Feminine Qualities? Two words. Barbara Mikulski.

  1. Raimundo seems like kind of a pig. No wonder Obama won America (and Orange County, FL) with trolls like this backing Romney.
