She makes a comment at the end that I found intriguing. "some of those people aren't even listeners" but they ARE radio station funders via tax dollars. Unlike Fox or CNN or MSNBC where you can just turn off their funding by turning off the programming with NPR one is not presented that choice. NPR has a duty to respect the viewpoints of those that listen and don't listen in a different way than private news organizations.
