I feel this cartoon is very inappropriate. Two-thirds of Americans are overweight or obese. They have the right to know what ingredients are in the foods that they eat. If more Americans were aware of how many preservatives, chemicals, GMOs, and hormones are in fast food and junk food, they would likely choose not to buy those types of foods. And the fact that you drew an overweight child in the cartoon, implying that it's his own fault he's overweight, is extremely insensitive and un-Christ-like. You should take this cartoon off your blog! Shame on you!

ReplyDeleteI think it is entirely appropriate. Why?
ReplyDeleteBecause of the two bottom lines on the label:
Parental responsibility: 0%
Personal responsibility: 0%
The label is not about what's in our food -- but what's in us.
