A revelation by actor Michael Douglas has focused a spotlight on a subject not often talked about: cancer caused by a sexually spread virus. It's known as human papilloma virus, or HPV. We talk to pediatrician Dr. Meg Meeker about the virus, the vaccine and its explosion with teens.

4:40 – The HHS Mandate – Where Do We Stand in the Courts?
The travesty of the Health and Human Services mandate in the Affordable Care Act continues to rankle. The mandate requires employers to underwrite for employees contraceptives, including abortion-inducing drugs such as Ella, and female sterilization through their insurance programs. The law is driving complainants of many religions to court.        The Becket Fund reports that there are 43 cases and over 110 plaintiffs challenging the mandate in court. Gene Milhizer, Dean of the Ave Maria Law School joins us to discuss just where we are in the legal battle against the Mandate.

When the newly elected Pope Francis appeared at the window before the cheering crowd in St Peter’s Square, and promptly bowed down asking the people to pray for him, most of the public at large was charmed, but puzzled. Pope Benedict too had asked the people to pray for him from the outset, but without the bowed head. To some spectators, however—including the members of the Catholic Charismatic Renewal and their counterparts in the Protestant and Orthodox worlds—the gesture came as something surprisingly familiar.  In the “charismatic” galaxy, prayer is offered and asked for in this way by people of all levels—specifically, prayer for a renewed outpouring of the Holy Spirit. We talk to Dr. Mary Healy, head of the Doctrinal Commission of the International Catholic Charismatic Renewal Services

5:40 – The Future of Ben Bernanke and the Fed
By this time next year, Ben Bernanke could be tanned, rested and working on his memoirs. As the final six months of his second term as Chairman of the Federal Reserve wind down, it is widely believed that he will not sign on for a third term. While conventional wisdom concurs that Bernanke will bow out, there is anything but consensus when it comes to the matter of whether or not the former Princeton professor is finishing, or cleaning up, the mess he has left behind. Ben Stein says there are a lot of good things for which Bernanke will be remembered, but says there's also one problem that Bernanke will forever have on his resume, a blunder so large that Stein calls is "the worst mistake in post-war economic policy." We talk about it with George Schwartz of the Ave Maria family of funds.
