4:20 – Michigan abortionist: 'It’s too late for me, I’m possessed'
Robert Alexander, the abortionist whose unsanitary Muskegon, MI clinic was shut down as a threat to public health in December, is now working at a public STD clinic in Detroit. Alexander seemingly went into hiding after a local TV station began investigating possible corruption on the state Medical Board. Alexander, whose legal troubles stretch back decades, is at the center of that controversy, as then-Board chairman George Shade, who is Alexander’s former mentor, is believed to have blocked investigations into alleged botched abortions and other violations of the law by Alexander going back to at least 2006. After the story broke in the local media, Alexander left his new job at a Detroit abortion facility and stopped answering his phone. Knocks at the door of his Plainwell home also went unanswered. Monica Miller has been deeply involved in this case and joins us.

Detroit’s Archbishop Allen Vigneron wrote today “In these days of Pope Benedict preparing to leave the See of Peter and of our waiting for the Conclave of Cardinals to meet, I am reminded of the disciples gathered around Our Lady in prayer in the Upper Room for the nine days between the Ascension and Pentecost. We, too, with the Blessed Virgin Mary at the center of our family, are joined in ardent prayer. While I was reflecting on this, the frequently quoted “tag line” from Fr. Solanus Casey’s ministry came to mind: “Thank God ahead of time.” So, I think the Holy Spirit is reminding us to thank God ahead of time – already, even now – for the Pope that he will give us next month.” Archbishop Vigneron is here to discuss Pope Benedict XVI, the conclave and more.
