President Obama Wednesday announced that he now supports same-sex marriage, reversing his longstanding opposition amid growing pressure from the Democratic base and even his own vice president. In an interview with ABC News’ Robin Roberts, the president described his thought process as an “evolution” that led him to this place, based on conversations with his own staff members, openly gay and lesbian service members, and conversations with his wife and own daughters. Dr. Jennifer Roback Morse joined us.
Marriage is a religious concept. Obana is not a religious leader. He can only extend political "marriage" in civil union which he states that, according to him and the other loyal democrats he "polled", is not enough.
ReplyDeleteNo religious institution condones same sex "marriage", not even the cult Tom Cruise is involved with. The only alternative that Obama is forming a mind-set to is that of establishing a state church .
His HHS is already used as a political tool, he's attacking the U.S. Constitution,h he signed himself powers of Indefinite Detention via the NDA in mid-January, and wants to make all complicit in the abortion industry. Sound like any other countries we know?
Given his defeat to get state appointed clergy into the governance of religious organizations, one can see that having been denied that, Obama's alternative is to establish a state church.
He wants to be Caesar in every sense of the word. Not to mention the distraction to the deplorable treatment of Chen mad the increase to the federal deficit when in China.
