Germany: 100 members of parliament to boycott Pope’s speech

( One hundred members of opposition parties have announced that they will boycott Pope Benedict’s speech to the German parliament.

“That is so small-minded that one doesn't know whether to laugh or to cry,” said Cardinal Joachim Meisner. “And the fact that they sit in parliament does not leave a positive mark on the noble representation of the German people.”
