4:20 – The Five Love Languages
Dr. Gary Chapman believes you have a God-given yearning for complete and unconditional love. But you’ll never be able to express it – or receive it – until you learn to speak the right “love” language. The Five Love Languages for Singles reveals how different personalities express love in different ways. In fact, there are five specific languages of love: Quality time, Words of Affirmation, Gifts, Acts of Service, and Physical Touch. Chapman’s first best-selling book, The Five Love Languages, has already connected with more than 3 million readers. How he tailors that message to meet the unique needs of singles, using real-life examples and anecdotes taken from his 30 years of interaction with single adults. He joins us.

RE: Does the Kennedy funeral make it more difficult or easier to spread the message of the Gospel?
ReplyDeleteA: The Catholic Church seems to navigate a "middle way" between Episcopal/Unitarian "openness" to every sort of scandal on the one hand; and a Latter-Day Saints' trigger-happy excommunication impulse. I think as long as the Church draws fire from both types of people within it, She's doing something right.

ReplyDeleteA. I think the Church did the right thing. I am actively pro-life and have no good words for Kennedy, but Jesus came for us sinners. Besides, the Catholic Church's name is already mud. Dr. Laura just said yesterday on her national radio show that we do not do enough to protect children from pedophiles. Can you imagine if we dug in and denied him a public Catholic funeral? What is below mud??
RE: Does the Kennedy funeral make it more difficult or easier to spread the message of the Gospel?
ReplyDeleteA. How is it that obama delivers the commencement speech at Notre Dame, delivers a letter from Ted Kennedy to Pope Benedict, and delivers a eulogy at Ted's funeral. How remorseful could Kennedy have been that the Prince of the Culture of Death should deliver his letter and then offer the eulogy? Are Catholics to assume that obama is going to be embedded in every major Catholic event? Will obama not rest until he descerates every Catholic church and institution in the nation?
And you ask if the Kennedy funeral will it more difficult or easier to spread the message of the Gospel?
Where are our bishops? Where is our leadership? Are they selling out to King Henry VIII? Dragged, Hung, and Quartered - is this to be our destiny?
