Annunciation Radio is a Catholic media apostolate serving Northwest Ohio and surrounding areas. In response to God’s call, their mission is to lovingly proclaim the truth of Jesus Christ, in union with the Magisterium of the Church. They are in the process of purchasing a station in Toledo and Al will be speaking at a fundraising banquet for them on May 28. We look at their mission and the importance of Catholic Radio with their president Deacon Mike Learned.

But based on his campaign autobiography, he says he holds to at least this small—and therefore truly audacious—hope: When it comes to abortion, Barack Obama does not like being compared to Stephen Douglas. Waterboarding? Electric shocks? Enhanced interrogation techniques. References to torture can be found in newspapers, radio and TV programs, and even in cartoon these days. Barak Obama has released “torture” memos from the Bush administration and many are pushing for prosecutions. One thing we know for sure is that torture is a moral issue. Dr. Patrick Lee, philosopher and Director of the Institute of Bioethics at Franciscan University of Steubenville joins us.
