It seems that the Commentator had something specific in mind when writing this but I couldn't understand who was he thinking of? Our Speaker of the House for her recent public comments?

I agree it goes without saying that being a disciple of Christ means a lifetime of learning, and the illegal immigration debate is a new. What John Paul II wrote is very comforting and compassionate, but those citizens who are near the border also deserve to be comforted and protected from illegals coming through.

Does a state near the border have a moral obligation to stop the fraud that drains their economy and expect justice by those who break the nations laws? Is it immoral to protect your citizens from all full gammet of crimes that come from illegal immigration? Or the illegal immigrants that are basically being trafficed across the border and subject to a host of criminal activity without protections?

I think that people are upset about all of the injustice that is occuring with illegal immigration and they are not being comforted or protected.liznoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7708139263643046536.post-51193103847601991222010-05-10T21:32:16.646-04:002010-05-10T21:32:16.646-04:00I like you're blogger format - keep up the gre...I like you're blogger format - keep up the great work, Al!

-JasonJason Michaelhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10473809316150504759noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7708139263643046536.post-46179884514724057182010-05-10T16:11:38.566-04:002010-05-10T16:11:38.566-04:00Bishop Sheen foresaw many things.
Was there anyone...Bishop Sheen foresaw many things.
Was there anyone at the time of Vat II, and faithful to the church(no sedevacantists, etc), who foresaw the forces of secularism draining away protestants and with it huge ranks within Catholicism?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
