This is a partisan opinion piece that, at best, relies on leaps of logic (e.g., Americans are dissatisfied with Congress ergo they are dissatisfied largely with the president) and is intentionally misleading (e.g., lavish excesses, imperious presidency). Big government and the unrelenting recession were both brought to us by the previous (Republican) administration, which we can safely assume the writer is advocating a return to, given the fawning revisionist history he provides regarding Ronald "Increase taxes on the poor and middle class while growing government" Reagan. I find it fascinating that the last sentence of this article could just as easily have been applied to both Reagan and George "I killed 152 in Texas before I brought you TARP" Bush. One suspects that for Mr. Gardiner needs to avail himself to the mercy and grace of God through reconciliation, that is, if he is even Catholic.<br /><br />Please stop trying to pass off the Fox "News" feed as Catholic.
