If some US company stands to make millions maybe even billions of dollars by drilling and selling this oil, then it only stands to reason that they would do so by providing an equivalent amount of oil compared to their new revenue for the American people. You can't make millions or billions by selling an extremely small quantity of oil, so either get upset about the small quantity of oil being produced OR get upset about the large revenues/profits. You can't have it both ways.<br /><br />Secondly, if any kinds of profits are generated they would be put money directly into the hands of American CEO's which are heavily taxed, and high paying oil jobs into the hands of american workers.
