Pro-lifers must devote more resources at worthy causes like placing ultrasound machines into crisis pregnancy centers." I also agree with him that the situation with the Supreme Court would have been much better had McCain won the election. (Though even then, would McCain have given us another Kennedy or Souter, rather than another Roberts or Scalia?)

However, I suspect that the Supreme Court as currently constituted is sufficiently "conservative" or "originalist" to uphold a number of new laws that significantly chip away at Roe v. Wade (such as the fetal pain law that was recently passed -- was it in Nebraska?).

Crucial questions to the future make-up of the court are when will Justice Kennedy retire, and what president will appoint his successor?Paul Hnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7708139263643046536.post-66712578607579026562010-05-11T15:29:38.123-04:002010-05-11T15:29:38.123-04:00I was there, while to my astonishment all the hard...I was there, while to my astonishment all the hard work we had done in writing to legislators and congressman and fighting the abortion issue, inlcluding late term, and embryonic stem cell research and euthanasia as the evils they are, I witnessed firsthand all the gains made during the Bush administration. I shuddered however when Bush left a crack in the door by allowing already shelved embryonic stem cells to be used and didn't shut the door on all embryonic stem cells. However, I understand what you are saying. I am not willing to make the best of any more abortions, I in all good conscience cannot make the most of what is happening here. But I can pray, and speak out and help in any way I can to prevent even one more abortion. I have a friend in Africa that has a small quaint organization that has saved 26 lives of babies within the last several days. He needs help. He needs , God help him a projector and a van to carry his little group from place to place. I am a widow myself and I might be able to send him a projector, but I don't have the means to get him a van, he so badly needs to protect the babies in his country. If you know who can help him, I would love to hook them up. Anything for the babies anything for Christ's sake. Help is needed.Clarita Nickolett Glomskinoreply@blogger.com
